The Forgotten 4th Verse of America's National Anthem "The Star Spangled ...
All the parts of this song were performed by a local SLC area guy who felt the fourth verse of our National Anthem should be remembered and sung.
Here's the words:
O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation.
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust;”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
Happy Independence Day!

Thanks for sharing this Jill!
The wedding pics were a lot of fun, too. So great that you both could attend...
I'm might have to share this on facebook!
I love the fourth verse and I especially love the line "...Heav'n rescued land."
