OK, so I can't sleep, and so I'm surfing around millinery sites and I found Louise MacDonald's site
http://www.louisemacdonald.com.au/costume_millinery.html
She did the hats for the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice.
On the site are pictures and a few comments by MacDonald concerning how she created the millinery for the movie and a few other movies as well.
Enjoy...and catch her fashion hats and bridal hat links too!

LOVE her work! But she doesn't show my favorite P&P hat, the little square brimmed (and tip) topper (sigh). I made a blue velvet one in my early days - not as nice as hers - but gave it away to my new stepson's girlfriend who loved it then promptly broke up with him. Wonder whatever happened to it. Time to make a new, improved one? K Q:-)
Thanks, Jill, for reminding me about Louise. Didn't know she had done the hats for that film. I really enjoy watching BBC.
Ooops! I misspoke before. That squarish topper was in another Jane Austen movie, Sense & Sensibility. Still love her work! K Q:-)
