Random Views from the Rambler

The front picture window, living up to its name.

Dawn breaking as viewed from the deck.

Mt. Olympus with fog rainbow
The enormous fir tree in front, covered with powder clots.
A foot of snow fell; all as light as air.
Nine more days until we move in.

Oh, take me there with you. Is that really where you live? Looks so beautiful. I love the winter season. So pure, and clean. Fresh tracks....

I love it! Powdery snow, fresh-fallen, looks so beautiful.

It's definitely better than three inches of ice followed by 6 inches of snow. My poor Kentucky families have no electricity, no land-phones, no cell phones, and the estimates for "normalcy" run from 7-10 days up to 7-8 weeks (depending on location)!! Yikes!

Sooo beautiful, Jill !
Why are you worried about stupid panelling? Just park your guests in front of a window and no one will notice any flaws withing!

Nine days until move in?? Wow! Finally !! You must be sooo excited! I'M excited !!

I love that huge tree in the front yard! I can imagine it now at Christmas time with strands of lights shining through the snow - if B will be so inclined?!

I remember as a child, my grandparents had an enormous tree like that in their front yard that I always loved. He put lights up every year, and at Easter, we grandkids would find our Easter baskets hidden underneath it's great lower boughs.

You've found such a beautiful place to live. Wondrous views. Love the picture window doing it's job. Isn't beauty good for the soul?!

Oh - another thought on the pannelling. What about putting new panneling over top? Fresh and any color you like. Don't hit me - I know - after all that work.
