Summer Garden: Before and After

Just a few scraggly pansies were left from our January planting.

Out with the pansies, in with the zinna, pentas, inpatients, begonia, , coleus, caladium, petunia, portulaca, white Mexican heather, Mexican petunia, and a border of yellow japanese sedum.

I love it...and I hope the butterflies and hummingbirds will love it too.
You can see some close-ups of the flowers here.

Jill, the color will be bright and colorful. The backdrop for the flowers is so lovely with all the lush greenery.
I'm glad you got it all planted. . hope the weather cooperates.

WOW!!! Awesome...looks like some of the plants may stay for longer than the summer. Great job on the weeding also. Hope it was cooler for you both and that you had good snoopervision. Love B

Very nice! I like the rock edging, too.

I noticed on our quick visit to the house this weekend that some of the plants in the front flower bed need to be replaced. Unfortunately, those 15-minute visits don't give me much time to get it done. Guess I'll have to find the time this weekend... maybe it'll help sell the house. Would you and Laura like to come help?
