Just my luck now that I can actually afford to buy things I'm old enough to be invisible to most of the population. Oh well, I have fun anyway.

And could that store with all the fun details be Anthropologie? I go in there regularly but have only bought one (much loved) summer jacket as most of their goodies are too youthful for moi. Oh well. Soon I'll be shopping garden centers again!
K Q:-)

P.S. As for rants, don't you hate it when you see an ad in Vogue or some other mag and then go to the store to shop for the item only to find that it doesn't exist in the store (well, perhaps only in NYC)? Drives me CRAZY!Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01983223015773238369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29053672.post-51115584039519893592008-10-26T08:14:00.000-06:002008-10-26T08:14:00.000-06:00oh I did enjoy the shopping outing wtih you and co...oh I did enjoy the shopping outing wtih you and couldn't agree more about the A and F. OH. . don't even get me started. . and I am certain they have scent coming from their store. . you can actually smell that one.
Did your cotton sweaters have a touch of lycra in them, or where they preshrunk cotton? I sometimes have bought cotton sweaters only to be wearing tighter ones after the first wash, but hey that is a different rant isn't it.
I'd love to do a shopping trip with you. . .I could flip the stacks while you find your size.Lovella ♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/13870567090244361779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29053672.post-67171416798827748552008-10-25T05:04:00.000-06:002008-10-25T05:04:00.000-06:00I hear ya on the A&F. You'd look scrumptious in it!
And for the record.....I do the same thing with the clothes pile and don't feel at all bad about it. They ARE being paid to restack the clothes, regardless of all the nasty glares they bolt at you after you've upturned their work of art.L&Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11300904977347356094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29053672.post-63116298819284775492008-10-24T14:47:00.000-06:002008-10-24T14:47:00.000-06:00I really need to shop for new clothing, but I disl...I really need to shop for new clothing, but I dislike shopping alone. I also have too much trouble finding a good fit. I'm very short and just a "tad bit" overweight. Yeah. Right.

Having someone along to encourage me and to help with the hunt would be wonderful! I enjoyed this little outing!

Back to the paintbrush...I'd rather be shopping! (That's tomorrow's plan!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29053672.post-43067794066857704192008-10-24T11:59:00.000-06:002008-10-24T11:59:00.000-06:00Um, yes, please pick me up 2 of those cute boys......Um, yes, please pick me up 2 of those cute boys...15+15=30, right?
Love you!!!
your daughter who is blatently avoiding the "I want grandkids" pressures...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29053672.post-32612531687893484892008-10-24T11:37:00.000-06:002008-10-24T11:37:00.000-06:00What an interesting mall - each post you make show...What an interesting mall - each post you make shows another beautiful aspect of SLC. And to think that you're an easy walking distance from all these places! I need to spruce up my fall/winter wardrobe too and that mall looks like a place I wish I could spend some time (and money!) at.

I find the stores and malls in the States quite different from our Canadian ones - I guess that's why we love our shopping weekends down there so much! How they stack the sizes of clothes is the same however - you've just put into words what I've always thought too!

Lori TAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29053672.post-16004755997058118992008-10-24T09:58:00.000-06:002008-10-24T09:58:00.000-06:00Oh, I love your rants on this post! Because they ...Oh, I love your rants on this post! Because they are my rants too....there is definitely tall and big discrimination in the world of shopping! Yes indeed! I empathize completely.

Now, I would love to be a petite person - they look SO much better in their clothing than us Amazon types, very chic and put together. But I'm NOT. And here's another peeve...why do us tall ones get charged extra dollars for a couple more inches of fabric in the clothing designed for tall people? Why, yes why? The average sizes don't have to pay more than the petites...life just is not fair I guess.

OK, I'm done ranting now.

That's a lovely mall...yes, give me a call and I'll hop on a plane and come shop and lunch with you anytime.Sara at Come Away With Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07677354270954094291noreply@blogger.com
